The White, Wind-Free Bay of Elafonisos
Lefki Beach is a small, picturesque bay on the west side of Elafonisos. Although less prominent than the cosmopolitan Simos, Lefki is a real gem that enchants the visitor with its pristine beauty, its white color and the fact that it remains protected from the summer winds.
- Type of beach: Pure white, fine sand with smooth rocks at the edges. The waters are shallow, crystal clear and have an impressive tropical turquoise color.
- Suitable for: Lovers of isolation and tranquility who want to avoid the crowds. Ideal for families, but also for snorkeling due to its interesting rocky seabed.
- Facilities: Completely unorganized beach with no umbrellas, sunbeds or beach bar. As there is no natural shade, it is essential to bring water, snacks and your own shade equipment.
- Access: Very easy by road, as it is located on the main road from the port to Simos. You park freely on the side of the road and walk down a short, passable path for 1-2 minutes.
