Marmari Beach

The Exotic and Sandy "Diamond" of Laconian Mani
Marmari Beach is a rare and impressive exception to the wild, rocky and rocky landscape of Mesa Mani. It is hidden among the imposing, bare hills of the Tainaria region, just after the historic castle town of Vathia. Essentially, this enchanting bay hosts two consecutive sandy beaches with turquoise waters.
  • Type of beach: Vast, fine golden sand covers the entire coast and the seabed. The waters are crystal clear, warm and turquoise. The first beach (Marmari I) has shallow waters, while the second (Marmari II) is deeper.
  • Suitable for: Ideal choice for families with young children due to the sand and shallow sea. The second beach is suitable for couples, lovers of isolation and snorkeling around the rocks.
  • Infrastructure: The first beach is organized and has sunbeds, umbrellas, showers and changing rooms, which are managed by the stone Hotel. On the hill there is an autonomous Restaurant and Beach Bar. The second beach is 100% unorganized.
  • Access: Road access via the central network (approximately 40-45 minutes from Areopoli). For the first beach, go down a few steps from the parking lot. For the second, leave the vehicle at the end of the road and walk along a path for 10 minutes.
