Manganos Beach is one of the most beautiful seaside gems in the Vatika region, near Neapoli, Laconia. This impressive coastline is part of a huge 7-kilometer sandy beach that extends from Pounta to Neapoli. Manganos stands out for the fact that it offers the same, velvety quality of sand as Elafonisos opposite, but with a much calmer pace.
- Type of beach: Endless, fine golden sand in and out of the water. The waters are crystal clear, very shallow and particularly warm.
- Suitable for: Families with young children due to the perfectly smooth slope of the seabed. Also ideal for relaxation and snorkeling due to its proximity to ancient Pavlopetri.
- Facilities: It has an organized beach bar with sun loungers, umbrellas and snacks. It offers vast free space, valuable natural shade from rare sea cedars (cedars), as well as a traditional tavern.
- Access: Very easy by road through the village of Agios Georgios. The paved road leads directly to the coast, where there is a large and free parking area.
