The Green and Organized Coast of Western Mani
Pantazi Beach is one of the most beloved summer destinations in Messinian Mani, a short distance from the picturesque Agios Nikolaos. It is a spacious coastline surrounded by a dense forest of tamarisks that reach almost to the sea.
- Type of beach: A combination of fine, dark sand and small gray pebbles. The waters are crystal clear, azure and gradually deepen, while in some parts of the seabed there are smooth stone slabs.
- Suitable for: Families with children, couples and groups due to the easy access and clear sea. The rocky edges of the bay are ideal for snorkeling and underwater photography.
- Facilities: Very well organized in places with a beach bar, umbrellas, sun loungers, showers and changing rooms. It has rich natural shade from tamarisk trees, a traditional tavern right above, as well as plenty of free space for your own equipment.
- Access: Very easy by road via an asphalt road (just 1-1.5 km from Agios Nikolaos and 5 km from Stoupa). The road ends next to the sea, offering a large and free parking area.
