Delfinia Beach
Description
The Hidden and Green Embrace of Messinian Mani
Delfinia Beach is one of the best kept secrets of Western Mani. Nestled in a deep, sheltered bay between Kardamyli and Stoupa, the beach enchants the visitor with its pristine beauty and the pine trees that reach almost to the waves.
- Type of coast: Ideal combination of fine, dark sand and small, smooth pebbles. The waters are crystal clear, deep and permanently sheltered (like a mirror), as the bay is completely protected from the winds.
- Suitable for: Couples, groups and those seeking absolute tranquility away from the crowds of Stoupa. The rich seabed and rocky edges make it an ideal choice for snorkeling and underwater photography.
- Infrastructure: A gently organized beach. It has a summer canteen for coffee and snacks, as well as a few sun loungers with umbrellas. It offers rich natural shade from trees and plenty of free space for your own equipment.
- Access: Very easy by road via the Kalamata - Areopolis axis (4 km from Stoupa and 6 km from Kardamyli). You can freely park your vehicle in the olive grove and walk down a passable path for just 2-3 minutes.
