Ambelakia Beach is one of the most beautiful and favorite options for swimming in the wider Monemvasia area. It is located in the coastal zone of Nomia, just 5 kilometers south of the rock of Monemvasia. Its trademark is the combination of impressive geological formations with a stunning, panoramic view of the historic castle, creating a unique relaxation setting.
- Type of beach: Fine, golden sand of high quality both on the shore and in the seabed. The waters are crystal blue, crystal clear and deepen smoothly, making the area ideal for endless swimming.
- Suitable for: Families with children, couples, but also for those who love playing in the sand, rackets and beach volleyball, as the sandy beach offers the necessary space.
- Infrastructure: Satisfactorily organized. During the summer season it has umbrellas and sunbeds from the local beach bar / mobile canteen, while traditional taverns and quality hotels operate nearby. There is also sufficient free space.
- Access: Very easy by road via the paved provincial network from Nea Monemvasia to Xifias. Parking of vehicles is in free spaces next to the road, a few meters from the coast.
