Panagitsa Beach (or Panagia Beach, also known to locals as Limnitsa) is the second largest and most popular alternative after the famous Simos. It is located on the west side of the island in the Kato Nisi area, approximately 3.5 kilometers from Elafonisos Town. The landscape stands out for its exotic shades of blue and turquoise, the rare sea cedar forest that reaches the sand and the magnificent view of the four protective islets of the area: Xeropoules, Lepto Nisi, Prasonisi and Kassela.
- Type of coast: Vast expanse with extremely fine, soft golden sand both on the shore and in the seabed. The waters are crystal clear, crystal clear and deep blue, while a characteristic of the area is the "Limnitsa", a small lake formed inside by the stagnant waters of rain and flood in winter.
