The Quiet, Crystal-Clear Bay of Kynouria
The Arcadian Village Beach is one of the most peaceful and authentic seaside destinations in Arcadia. It is located in North Kynouria, just 1.5 kilometers from the homonymous model settlement, on the impressive coastal axis of Agios Andreas - Leonidio. It is a beautiful, narrow bay approximately 110 meters long that offers absolute tranquility and crystal clear waters with the slopes of Parnonas in the background.
- Type of coast: Small bay covered by clean, smooth pebbles on the shore and in the interior of the seabed. The waters of the Argolic Gulf at this point are incredibly clear, crystal clear and do not deepen abruptly.
- Suitable for: Families with young children, due to the passable depth and the calm of the sea, couples, but also lovers of underwater exploration, as the rocks at the edges of the bay are suitable for spearfishing and snorkeling.
- Infrastructure: The beach has no commercial organization (beach bars or rented sun loungers), preserving its natural beauty unchanged. However, it provides basic amenities as it has free thatched sunshades, showers, toilets and trash cans.
- Access: Very easy, as the main road passes just a few meters above. The final approach to the shore is via a short dirt road/path, where there is ample space for free parking of vehicles.
