Almyri Beach is one of the most beloved and hospitable seaside destinations in Corinth, ideal for those seeking relaxation and natural surprises. It is located in the Saronic Gulf, in the area of Kato Almyri, very close to the famous Baths of Beautiful Helen. Its great advantage is the combination of lush vegetation with two unique natural attractions: the neighboring wetland of Kokkosi and an impressive natural "waterslide", where sweet, cool water gushes through the rocks and flows to the sea.
- Type of coast: A long, vast coastline covered with fine pebbles and clean sand. Its waters are crystal clear, clear and greenish-blue. At the point where the springs gush forth ("Cold Waters" to the locals), the waters are particularly cool and refreshing.
- Suitable for: Families with children who love playing in the stream of the natural waterslide, but also for travelers looking for a quiet Sunday getaway in an authentic seaside environment.
- Infrastructure: Very well organized, but without losing its free character. Along the coast you will find beach bars with umbrellas and sun loungers, showers and infrastructure, while within walking distance there are excellent traditional fish taverns and cafes on the waves.
- Access: Very easy, fast and direct. It is only 45 to 50 minutes from Athens and about 15 minutes from the city of Corinth. The transition is by road via the Athens-Corinth National Road (exit for Epidaurus), while the area offers ample space for parking vehicles.
