Psathopyrgos Beach is one of the most unique, authentic and picturesque destinations in the entire northern Peloponnese. It is located in the Corinthian Gulf, in the eponymous seaside settlement of the Municipality of Patras (municipality of Rio), approximately 18 kilometers east of Patras. Psathopyrgos is the northernmost settlement of the Peloponnese and is the ultimate summer retreat for those seeking an island breeze without getting on a ship. The landscape is unique, as the lush green foothills of Mount Panachaikos (and Ziria) almost end in the picturesque cove, offering a rare combination of mountain and sea.
- Type of coast: A small but beautiful coastline that is mainly covered by clean pebbles, while a smaller part of it has sand. Its waters are crystal clear, clear and relatively deep. A characteristic feature of the area is the picturesque steps that lead into the sea for the convenience of bathers, as well as the fact that the bay protects the coast from large waves (an ideal spot for SUP).

- Infrastructure: The beach is organized in a small part of it. Its great advantage is the coastal zone, where you will find a series of excellent ouzo restaurants, traditional fish taverns and cafes with their tables literally on the sea.
- Access: Very easy and fast. The journey by road from Patras takes only 15-20 minutes via the Old National Road. Athens is about 2 hours away via the modern Olympia Road. Access is also possible with the Achaia Intercity Bus. Ample parking space is available around the settlement.
