Ziller's Neoclassical Jewel with the Pan-Arcadian Treasures of History The Panarcadic Archaeological Museum of Tripoli is one of the most emblematic, rich and timeless cultural destinations of Arcadia. It is located in the heart of the Peloponnese, in a privileged location in the center of Tripoli, next to Kolokotroni Square and opposite the church of Agia Evangelistria. The great advantage of the museum is the building itself where it is housed: an impressive, two-story neoclassical building, designed by the great architect Ernesto Ziller, which initially operated in 1913 as the "Evangelistria" hospital, before being transformed into a cultural center that hosts over 7,000 finds.

• Exhibition type: A continuous journey through time unfolding in 8 interior rooms and a lush courtyard. The tour combines rare collections that start from the Neolithic and Early Helladic eras (with important finds from Sakovouni Kamenitsa), move on to the Mycenaean and Geometric periods, and end with the impressive sculptures of the Roman period, many of which come from the famous Villa of Herodes Atticus in Loukou, Kynouria.

The museum is traditionally famous for its artistic and epigraphic character, as at the entrance the visitor is greeted by 50 ancient tombstones, while inside the cult figurines and the homoglyph seated statue of a goddess from Kato Asea stand out.

Inside, the ground floor's stunning undulating ceiling is worth noting, while the rose garden is full of architectural details. • Access: Easy, fast and direct. As it is located in the urban fabric of the city (at Spiliopoulou Street 2), it is easily accessible on foot from any central point of Tripoli. For those coming from outside the city, the journey from Athens takes about 1.5 hours via the Corinth - Tripoli highway. The vehicles are parked on the surrounding municipal streets of the area.
