The Fabrika Culture Factory(which operates as the Promotion Center for Rural History and the Sea Routes in the Eastern Peloponnese) is one of the most modern, impressive and timeless cultural destinations of South Kynouria in Arcadia. It is located in the eastern Peloponnese, occupying an extremely privileged location in the heart of the traditional settlement of Leonidio. The great advantage of the space is its emblematic building itself: a historical building of more than 160 years old (year of construction 1859) that began as a Primary School, operated as a power plant in 1924 (hence the name “Fabrika”), before being completely reconstructed and transformed into an ultra-modern, exemplary multi-cultural venue.
- Exhibition type: A continuous, highly interactive exhibition program developed through digital applications, touch screens and innovative environmental interpretation systems. The tour combines historical evidence, photographic documents and authentic objects that highlight the deep rural life of Tsakonia (centered on the famous Tsakonian eggplant), as well as the Kynouriates' commercial sea routes throughout the Mediterranean.

Fabrica has an amphitheater/screening hall with comfortable seats, temporary exhibition spaces, distance learning infrastructure for young and old, as well as full accessibility. In the surrounding area and the market of Leonidio, excellent traditional guesthouses, cafes and taverns operate.
- Access: Very easy, fast and direct. The journey from Astros takes about 40 minutes by car via the magnificent coastal route, while from Tripolihe distance is about 1.5 hours. The biggest advantage is that the building dominates the central area of Leonidio making it immediately accessible on foot, while it is also the starting point for beautiful hiking trails to the chapel of Prophet Elias. Free parking is available in the area.
