Port of Patras

The Port of Patras is the central transport and commercial pillar of sea transport for the city of Patras, the whole of Achaia and the country, being the most important "Gateway of Greece to Western Europe". For the hundreds of thousands of passengers, tourists and professional drivers who travel to Italy every day (Bari, Ancona, Venice) and the Ionian Islands (Kefalonia, Ithaca), this modern port infrastructure offers a direct, safe and high-level connection for the movement of people, vehicles and goods. The port is divided into the North Port (Ionian traffic) and in the modern South Port (international traffic/Italy) on the coast of Dymaia.
