Kallisto Beach (also known as the “Central Beach”) is the signature landmark of Paralio Astros. It is a historic stretch of coast—being the first organized beach in the entire Argolic Gulf—that extends for several kilometers, offering panoramic views of the area’s famous medieval castle.

• Beach Type: The shore consists of fine sand and small, smooth pebbles. The waters are pristine and crystal-clear; they deepen relatively quickly but steadily, without sudden drop-offs.
• Suitable for: It is ideal for all types of visitors. Its gentle entry into the water makes it perfect for families with children, while the organized water sports center attracts adventure enthusiasts.
• Facilities: The beach is fully organized. You will find numerous beach bars with umbrellas and sunbeds, showers, changing rooms, and a lifeguard. It also features a special ramp for independent sea access for people with disabilities. There is plenty of open space for those who prefer to set up their own equipment.
• Access: Extremely easy, as the beach is located within the settlement, right below the main pedestrian street and the fish tavernas. Parking is convenient in the surrounding parking areas.
