The Private Folklore Museum of Tripoli "Tasos Birbilis" is one of the most moving, authentic and timeless cultural destinations of Arcadia. It is located in the heart of the Peloponnese, in a privileged location within the urban fabric of Tripoli, on Chrona Street 18 (very close to the center). The great advantage of this special space is that it is housed in the ancestral home of the Birbilis family (built in 1925). It is the life's work of the late collector Tasos Birbilis (1939-2022), who transformed a small, traditional house of just 40 square meters into a living treasury of folk culture.

The tour combines everyday objects, traditional costumes, textiles, embroidery and tools of old professions that have been lost. Every corner of the house faithfully reflects the lifestyle, aesthetics and culture of old Arcadia.

In the same space, the famous Tripoli Copper Museum operates, where elaborate copper vessels, cauldrons and folk art objects are exhibited. Due to the limited size of the building, the tour has a completely personal character.
- Access: Very easy, fast and direct. As it is located in the city (Chrona 18), the transition from the central square of Tripoli takes only 5-7 minutes on foot. For those coming from outside Arcadia, the road trip from Athens takes approximately 1.5 hours via the Corinth - Tripoli highway. Parking is available on the surrounding urban roads.
- How to Visit: Because this is a private collection housed in a historic residence, visits are usually by appointment or at specific times maintained by the family.
