Kiato Beach

The Endless and Lively Coastline of the Corinthian Gulf for Instant Getaways

Kiato Beach is the main seaside front of the lively city of Kiato (Municipality of Sikyonia) in Corinth. It extends for an impressive 3 kilometers, offering an excellent solution for those looking for a complete summer experience by the sea. Its great advantage is that it combines the crystal clear waters of the Corinthian Gulf with the comforts of a modern city, offering a beautiful cobblestone walkway for walking, relaxation and fun at all hours of the day.
  • Type of coast: A long, pebbly coastline, as it is characterized by pebbles in and out of the sea, while in some places there are also stones. Its waters are clean, clear and relatively deep, while the coast is consistently awarded the Blue Flag for its water quality and excellent organization.
  • Suitable for: Families, groups of young people and travelers looking for an all-in-one summer getaway. Due to its enormous length, the beach can satisfy both those seeking a cosmopolitan atmosphere and those who prefer more isolated and quiet spots.
  • Infrastructure: Extremely developed. A large part of the coast is organized with modern beach bars, umbrellas, sun loungers and water sports facilities. Along the coastal front, numerous traditional fish taverns with fresh fish, cafes, restaurants and seaside accommodations operate.
  • Access: Very easy, fast and direct. It is approximately one hour and 15 minutes from Athens and Patras. Access is by road via the Athens-Patras National Road, while the area is well served by the Suburban Railway with direct services from Athens to Kiato Station. Ample parking is available on the surrounding streets.
