Pori Beach is the absolute seaside landmark of the area, as it extends over a vast 2-kilometer coastline. It is located at the exit of Monemvasia towards Sparta and offers visitors a unique combination of natural beauty and comfort, having as a permanent backdrop the imposing and historic rock of Kastropolitia.
- Type of beach: Endless, golden sand on the shore and at the bottom, with crystal clear, transparent waters consistently awarded with the Blue Flag.
- Suitable for: Families with young children due to the sand and easy access. Ideal for walking, running, beach volleyball and free snorkeling due to its enormous size.
- Infrastructure: Organized in sections with a beach bar, umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, changing rooms and a lifeguard. It has plenty of free space with natural shade from pine and tamarisk trees, while quality hotels operate nearby (500 m.) for your accommodation.
- Access: Very easy by road via an asphalt road, as it is only 3.5 km. before the Monemvasia Bridge. There is clear signage from the main road and a large, free parking area next to the sand.
