Stomio Beach is one of the most beautiful, special and beloved beaches of western Messinia (Trifylia). It is hidden in a lush, sheltered and picturesque bay, just 3.2 kilometers from the city of Filiatra and 10 kilometers south of Kyparissia. It is a destination that stands out for the rich nature that surrounds it, as a small river flows there, while just behind the coast, on the rock, a picturesque chapel dominates.

- Type of coast: The coast consists mainly of thick, perfectly round white pebbles and sections with wide blond sand, while in the interior of the seabed there are several sandy spots. The waters of the Ionian Sea are crystal clear, crystal clear, have impressive turquoise colors and deepen relatively quickly.
- Suitable for: Travelers who love closed, protected beaches and underwater exploration, as the rocks on either side of the bay are ideal for snorkeling due to the rich marine life. Due to the pebbles on the coast, beach shoes are recommended.
- Infrastructure: Satisfactorily organized. There is a stylish beach bar/canteen on the beach that offers umbrellas and sun loungers. Due to its great popularity, it gets very crowded in July and August. However, there is also free space to spread out your towel.
- Access: Very easy by car via the coastal road of Kyparissia - Filiatra. Parking is free on a landscaped plateau just above the beach, and the descent to the shore is safely via built-in stairs.
