Stoupa Beach

The Cosmopolitan and Golden Sands of Messinian Mani

Stoupa Beach is the center of tourist activity in the Western Mani region. It is an impressive, vast coastline that stretches right in front of the settlement, combining the exotic sea with direct access to all amenities.
  • Type of beach: Fine, velvety golden sand on the shore and at the bottom, with crystal clear waters consistently awarded the Blue Flag. It is characterized by the underground freshwater springs that gush from Taygetos, keeping the sea always clean.
  • Suitable for: Families with young children due to the gentle slope and safe sea. Ideal choice for groups, young people, couples, but also for snorkeling enthusiasts around the rocks.
  • Infrastructure: Excellently organized with numerous beach bars, umbrellas, sun loungers, showers, changing rooms and a lifeguard. Just above, on the coastal promenade, there are traditional taverns, cafes, shops, as well as quality hotels and rooms to rent.
  • Access: Very easy by road via the paved network (45 km from Kalamata). Parking is available in the municipal parking lots or along the streets of the settlement.
