Tsapi Beach
Description
The Hidden Paradise Between Koroni and Finikounda
Tsapi Beach is one of the most pristine, authentic and secluded seaside "diamonds" of southern Messinia. Administratively it belongs to the Municipal Unit of Koroni (Chrysokellaria area) and is nestled in a beautiful, lush green bay near Cape Akritas. It is the ultimate destination for those who want to completely escape the rhythm of the city and enjoy an untouched natural landscape, where the valley meets the endless blue.
- Type of coast: Ideal, crystal clear sand "neither thick nor thin" on the coast, which is closed on the right and left by imposing rocks. The waters are crystal clear, clear and deepen relatively quickly, making the spot excellent for snorkeling along the rocky coastline.
- Suitable for: Friends of free and organized camping, amateur fishermen, couples and travelers seeking absolute peace and relaxation. Due to its isolation, it offers a haven of peace away from mass tourism.
- Infrastructure: The beach maintains its authenticity without commercial beach bars, but has two excellent, traditional family taverns that offer sunbeds to their customers. Just behind the coast, the organized Camping operates.
- Access: Requires a little adventure, as you will need to travel a winding, downhill road of approximately 7 kilometers from the main axis of Finikounda - Koroni. There is a relevant sign at the height of Chrysokellaria, while at the end of the road you will find a comfortable, free parking space under the olive trees.
