Vrachati Beach
Description
The Cosmopolitan and Organized Coastline of the Corinthian Gulf for All Ages
Vrachati Beach is one of the most popular, lively and timeless seaside destinations in Corinth. It is located on the Corinthian Gulf, ideally located between Corinth and Kiato. Its great advantage is the combination of the vast, organized coastline with the cosmopolitan pedestrian street that is bustling with life. It is a constant value for summer excursions, as it offers crystal clear waters, excellent aesthetics and countless entertainment options around the clock.
- Type of coast: An endless, wide coastline covered in fine pebbles and sand. The waters of the Corinthian Gulf are deep, crystal clear and cool, while the beach is consistently awarded the Blue Flag for its water quality and excellent organization.
- Suitable for: Families, groups of young people, couples and travelers looking for an all-in-one summer experience. Due to its long length, it can satisfy both those looking for intense fun and those who want to relax in quieter places.
- Infrastructure: Super-organized. Along the long sidewalk there are dozens of beach bars, cafes, modern bars, traditional taverns and restaurants. The coast has umbrellas, sun loungers, showers, changing rooms, as well as a lifeguard. In the area you will also find quality hotels and rooms to rent for every budget.
- Access: Very fast and relaxing, as it is about an hour and 15 minutes from Athens (just 12 kilometers after Corinth). The transition is easy by road via the Athens-Patras National Road, while there is also the option of the Suburban Railway with alighting at the nearby Corinth or Zevgolatio stations. Parking spaces are available on the surrounding streets, although during peak weekend hours a little patience is needed.
