Myloi

Myli, Argolida—a historic and stunning seaside village in the Municipality of Argos-Mycenae—is a unique destination situated on the shores of the Argolic Gulf, renowned worldwide for its rich mythological and historical heritage. The area is identified with ancient Lerna, where, according to mythology, Hercules slew the Lernaean Hydra; in more recent times, it served as the setting for the historic Battle of Myli in 1825, where Makrygiannis and Ypsilantis repelled the forces of Ibrahim. Today, the village is renowned for the Anavalos springs, its clean beach, and its beautiful seaside promenade; it is also one of the region's favorite culinary destinations, famous for its traditional souvlaki and picturesque fish tavernas serving fresh fish right by the water, while offering easy access to Argos, Nafplio, and neighboring Kiveri.
